🗺️ What’s Nearby

📍 In The Heart of Chinatown

Drury Heritage sits quietly along Jalan Sang Guna — a small lane in Kuala Lumpur’s historic Chinatown, known to many as Petaling Street.

We’re located between two of KL’s oldest temples — Guan Di Temple and Sri Mahamariamman Temple— and just minutes from Central Market and Merdeka 118, the tallest tower in Malaysia.

These sacred walls stood long before the skyline rose. They’ve watched generations pass, lanterns light up, and footpaths quietly shift.

Look one way: you’ll see Malaysia’s tallest symbol of progress.
Look the other: you’ll step into a street still holding memory, warmth, and time.

Drury isn’t just placed here. It belongs here — where past and present meet with intention.

This photo isn’t just a view — it’s a reflection of the city’s layers: heritage below, progress above. At Drury, we pause in between.

One day, this view may be gone — likely replaced by new towers, new plans. But for now, it reminds us why Drury is here: to hold space for memory, for pause, for meaning — before it fades.

🧭 Why Now? Why Here?

Petaling Street is undergoing a comprehensive revitalisation of its urban and cultural environment by DBKL(KL City Hall) in preparation for Visit Malaysia 2026 — creating a rare window for culturally rooted activation. Drury Heritage is positioned to anchor this momentum, bridging cultural preservation and contemporary hospitality at the heart of a revitalised Chinatown.

Foot traffic is high. Curiosity is rising. The surrounding streets offer plenty of food and retail, but what’s missing is a true stopover — a place to pause, recharge, sip something thoughtful, and reconnect with the cultural soul of the city.

🏗️ What We’re Building

Drury is reactivating a forgotten row along Jalan Sang Guna — between two iconic temples, in the heart of KL’s Chinatown. Drury Heritage is a dual-storey cultural lounge that serves drinks and discovery:

  • 🛋️ Ground floor for pause and sips
  • 🎭 Upstairs for stories, showcases or slow hangs
Scaffold sketch New Farcade
🎭 Grounded in hospitality, layered with heritage, and designed for pause — not just consumption.

📈 Why Drury Works as a Business

For investors and SME founders looking for lean, culture-rooted hospitality ventures — Drury shows how small spaces can carry deep value.

While many cafes and lounges compete in KL, Drury’s advantage lies in how we’ve designed the business from the inside out.

  • 📍 Strategic location with heritage value and organic foot traffic
  • 🧩 Concept built around multi-use concept: cafe, cultural experience, and quiet rest
  • 👥 Designed for lean operations with scalable systems
  • 📣 Backed by a strong founding team and community roots

This is more than another coffee shop. Drury is designed to connect people, culture, and modern hospitality in a way that stands out and sustains itself.

🧱 Space Advantage & Control

Drury Heritage is built in a space we fully manage and shape — this gives us room to plan renovations, curate experiences, and adapt the flow over time.

  • 📍 Positioned at the heart of Chinatown between iconic temples
  • 🏗️ Flexible two-floor layout with potential for events and activations
  • 🍽️ Distinctive positioning among busy F&B outlets — offering a pause, not just another meal

This gives us a rare mix of identity, flexibility, and long-term control that helps us stand out in a crowded landscape.

🌱 Built to Grow

Drury wasn’t created to be a one-off. It’s a working prototype — a proof-of-concept for a new kind of cultural lounge experience. From layout and offerings to our lean business structure, everything is built with long-term viability in mind.

Our first home in Chinatown lets us refine the playbook. But the real vision? To evolve Drury into a repeatable model — adaptable for other cultural enclaves, quiet corners, or reawakening heritage spaces.

We’re starting deliberately, not fast. But from day one, we’re thinking about tomorrow — building a calm, soulful brand with the potential to scale thoughtfully.
